i did some research (ok, i asked a few questions), check it out

Hi, I'm looking for a set of injectors for my Solara. It's a 1999 with the 1MZFE V6. It's a Denso style injector. I need something around 390cc's and the only thing i could find were 310cc and 750cc. If it helps at all, the 2jz non turbo supra injectors will fit on my engine. Will the SL2-0370 injectors fit? The Honda style injectors look a lot like the Denso, would those drop in? Here is a part number for my oem injectors. 23250-0A010

Thank you for your help

Cornell

Thank you for choosing R.C. Engineering. Regarding your previous e-mail, you requested 390cc/min injectors for your 1999 Toyota Solara. We definately have upgrades available in Denso style. The closest size in the Saturated injectors we have is an 370cc/min or 440cc/min injector. The cost is the same. $88.75each. They are in stock. RC injectors are custom modified to fit different applications, so they will fit. You may need to change your injector clips though.

Thank you,
Carol,
R.C. Engineering

Sorry Cornell, one more thing..your oem injector has an air-feed systems, which needs to be blocked off in order to run RC injectors. I mentioned in my previous email that you would need to change the clips. We have two types of clips available, IWC or DCC. The IWC is a cut/splice style at $9.95each and the DCC is a plug/play style at $17.25each.

Thank you,
Carol,
R.C. Engineering

I may consider doing this.

I was thinking about getting the Supra injectors (which are plug and play), but they cast $1000 a set. These are only about $600 a set. Nice way to save $400.

Thanks for posting.

good research....but I don't see how our cars will ever need that much fuel?

to use that much fuel, the engine will have to be full built and putting down at least 400whp. with whichever kind of boost you choose to run...

u can get them used and send them into witchhunter to get them cleaned and they should be runnin like new...total cost of the injectors + cleaning shouldnt be more then 200-300

3 weeks is nothing.

give it a few more months IF u can.

Look on ebay too..they pop up on there often..

Also, join a supra forum, they get rid of them all the time to upgrade their injectors...and they get rid of them for pretty damn cheap.

Theres a couple of sets in the FS section.
One set of RC's 318cc of which are mine.
These should do you just fine.
I also have 370cc in my Solara but I'm dyno'ed at 325 fwhp.
I still think that they are overkill but seem to be working fine for now. :bday:
Got Boost?? :sweet:
