SUPRA TT BRACKETS PICTURES PG.8

Postby 00-solara » Tue Aug 05, 2008 10:05 pm

Question of the noobish variety....If I don't have ABS will I have any problems. How much will this affect braking power considering I love my dads Tundra brakes a lot haha???

No cutting or anything of any parts just put on Supra TT Rotors and the ericSol part to move the caliper and your all set??

proving that there are different caliper setups. Maybe Camry's have different calipers due to it being a family car. lol

Whatever the reason point is that the brackets will improve brakes more than the number of pistons a caliper has. Ill go against any stock brake setup even if it has 2 or more pistons vs. my bracket setup. lol (this post wasnt aimed at the poster above, fyi i agree that there are diff setups)

HAHA! True statement.

BTW, throw it up on TN for the Gen 3/4 guys. May get some bites there as well. :)

I'm down, only reason I'm backing off at the moment is my lack of 17"+ wheels; I got rid of my old 18s a while back. If I can scrounge up a cheap pair of Gen2 17s, I'm game.

CASTRO wrote:and wanted to add... i've had the original set since day 1 and still running strong. best cheap man's bbk ever. To make it really comparable to a bbk, add SS brake lines, good pads, and a 2pc light weight rotors.

Even with just stock pads, no SS lines, brembo blanks, these perform more than enough. What I mean by that is, its so strong, it will upset your ABS system because of the retardedly weak rear brakes.

Best to compliment the rears with slotted rotors and good pads.

Can you give us a price break down on this upgrade? :D Thanks

I dont care, Mark...you just better make this happen. I hate my retarded brakes going downhill on the mountains.

BTW, does anyone know how this upgrade will fare with my rear drums?

^ Rear drums is why your brakes give out, Swap to rear disc when you do the front brakes.
