I would Agree with Dats the ring is kind of ugly true but better than paying 400 for the innovate wideband or even an autometer ... this is what it looks like with the TRD guage on the top and Aem on bottom

6" after your y-union/ flexpipe and before your cat

on an angle so that moisture won't collect on the sensor

I read 3"-6" from the collector and since there is about 5" or 7" of flex pipe after the collector, I was thinking about where? Thanks Eye8pussies for also saying, "on an angle."

Two more questions:
Did you drill through the firewall or through the floor for the wiring?
Do you leave the wideband O2 sensor in all the time, or do you bung it up to save the life of the sensor?

for the placement of the sensor, don't worry about it too much, since the kit will come with installation instructions...

as for wiring, you can either remove your seat and center console and then pull up your carpet to get to where the stock o2 sensor goes through the floor of the car, or, what I did, since I was lazy, was run the wire into the engine compartment, and then run it through one of the many holes that I have there going through my firewall for my many random electronic things

and you could remove the sensor and use a bung cap whenever you're not street tuning....but then that defeats the purpose of keeping a constant eye on your engine performance...

anyway, the sensor isn't crazy expensive should it die anyway....I think it's usually around 60bucks or so. as long as you don't run your car really rich, the sensor should last for quite a while

You might want to see what platform your tuner uses to pick up o2 information. I know many dynos utilize the innovate platform and the graphing functions can be utilized by the tuner. I'm also going to put an extra bung in the headers to hook up to when dyno tuning.
