Just wondering if anyone here with a gen1 convertible has ever experienced small leaks through the front door windows. I was driving in the rain today, and only on the driverside i was getting a few drops here and there...any suggestions?

that has happened on my dad's Z3. it's because the top/weather-stripping is going bad.

the only solution i know of is to replace the top.

but then again, this was on a Z3, not a solara (although the design is the same: window glass all the way up to the convertible top, weather stripping attached to convertible top, no above window door frame)

maybe someone with a lara vert has a different solution/answer. good luck with the fix

I suppose im fortunate in a way because its only leaking through the actual door window, and its not all that much comming in...but its enough to irritate me. I adjusted the rubber a bit so that it sits more snug against the window....i'll see if that helps.
