My Fall 08' Project! w/ Pics

Postby ArizonaEagle07 » Sat Jul 26, 2008 11:37 am

Hey Everyone its been awhile since i've posted. I've finally gotten back to working on my car. Just recently ive purchased and installed a TRD Rear Sway Bar best 45 min install ive ever done, car handles like a dream.

Here are a few pics of my next projects ill be working on this Fall.

This month I will be installing the new Pioneer AVIC-F90BT

Image

Thanks to http://www.AVIC411.com and all there detailed information I finally picked this Navi unit!

I have purchased Gen 1.5 headlights and Fogs for my retrofit.

Image

Image

The headlights are being sent off to Custom Lightz for a conversion to Quad Projector layout and custom black shroud. I'll be having TSX projectors set in place for high and low beam. I got a great price for this set up. http://www.customlightz.com

It will very closely resemble Astro conversion seen here. [RIP]

Image

I was told it will be a couple months for the headlights to be finished, I did not mind at all. I will be using that time to purchase the bumper and lip kit and send it off for paint!

Hopefully in the winter months ill be ordering JIC Coilovers & I just found some rims! Axis Crux 19x8 45 offset (I hope the offset is ok!?)

Image

Anyways, sorry I havent been on here much. When the mod bug hits your wallet becomes smaller! Later on in the year ill have Gen 1 Bumper, Headlights, Fogs, Grill, and corners for sale. The bumper and grill & passenger headlight & fog are factory new from Toyota only 2 months old as of now.

Yea after debating between, the Avic-Z3/N4 & Avic-D3 I finally saw the brand New F-Series and a few videos of realtime footage with the firmware update & decided on this one.

retro 1.5 fog?
Is the 1.5 fog big enough to retro? It looks really narrow and a tight fit for projector
Gen 1 fog is nice and big ( and expensive -_- ) but easily retroed for a projector.

Fitting the projector is the easy part.

Making the clear lense from scratch...is the hard part :-P
