Well, it looks like it is using the Scion tC supercharger kit... its a definite first! It also shows as having a Coil Air system... props to the guy who did it.

Based on the car tailights and headlights my guess is a 5S-FE.
Unless he did an engine swap which i doubt.

It's the Ripp setup. It's been around for years. I have the header, but after the problems I had with their company getting it I was not inclined to do business with them ever again.

The dyno numbers for their test bed car were actually better than a "normal" supercharged V6, but the kit was btw 4-5k if I remember right. It included all kinds of stuff (Fuel pump, sensors, electronics, injectors, etc...) and was much more involved than just a supercharger. Seriously the kit came out in late 2001, I think. Most of you weren't driving yet .

god damn.. i remember when they made that for the camry community.. they were pissed.. the people who ended up buying the kit were mostly MR2 guys... yeah that is the RIPP mods supercharger.. and yeah it was a dope kit

thats part of the reason why we never got aftermarket cuz shoot.. hella people said yeah i got money now.. when the kit came out.... no one bought it :/

I dont think the kit was worth the money personally... on the gen 4 camry it put out about 190whp with a manual if i remember right and the management sucked... I have the header on my gen 3, I was a part of the original group buy (the one that didnt fall through).

That kit has been long gone though, they havent produced it in years...

I thought it was 210 with the top level version, but still that's a lot of money for 210, or 190. I tried to be part of the first group buy for the header, but the stupid wankers lost my credit card information, and didn't bother to contact me. When people started getting theirs I called them and was like WTF? They didn't seem too worried about it, which really steamed me. I missed out on the first run and ended up having to wait like a year to get my header. I would have bought the SC kit, if these guys where halfway organized, but I don't do business with retards. The header is top notch though.

it could have been 210, I thought about 190 or so... There was a guy sho0k on TN that had a sick white gen 3 coupe with one that i think was pushing some decent numbers, he was a cool/helpful guy. I had originally planned to go with this kit on my gen 3 after the 5 speed swap was done, but I moved on to the solara instead and Im still glad I did!
