I got your time slip
http://www.dragtimes.com/Toyota-Solara-Timeslip-15845.html

Must have been fun ! :)

Nice vid !

Did you had any tire problem or anything special ?

I thought you could have low 14. Maybe try an NHRA drag track.
I got 14.81 on NHRA track. I don't know if you it stick better but maybe.

Yep, it was a really good time.
i was too lazy to take my system out, and also was running on my 20s.
I think it's not too bad for all that.

it was a really hot day (probably above 85 when we start, and cooled down to 82 or something when i got my best time),
so there was not that many people running.
I did 15 runs, and I could do even more if i wanted to.

love to go back when the weather cools down a little.

I see...I understand, I got also 15-15.1 time when it is too hot. And your 20's doesnt help. What are the tires you have on those (brand/model) ?

Nah, no kids with us. The weather was 93 degrees out when we got there and atypical Ohio valley humidity. My car ran like ass. My best was a 15.4 at 90. Ive managed a 15.3 before at Edgewater several weeks ago and that was before the exhaust. Course I took my spare and jack out that time and it was 10 degrees cooler or so. I left all that stuff in and had some misc. car parts in my car from earlier in the day. I'm also in dire need of a tune up which I havent had time to do yet. I'm at the 90k mark, so plugs and wires will be changed out. Hope to better represent the community in the future

^^^^^Yo Solo, I thought you went.

Man, that did look like fun guys.

Yo Mike, especially liked the Pssst Psssts out the hood, that is definitely an intimidator to any highschooler in his mom's Civic challenging you at a stoplight.

Ya, no wait at all and not many cars there. I prob. got 6 or 7 runs in and that was with a lot of pause between them too.

Did you guys notice if your cars were running slower each after each run or did that not matter. Usually if you let the car sit for a while and cool down you will get better runs. At least I know that is true for push rod motors, but not sure about DOC motors.
