Postby 1gSE » Mon Jul 14, 2008 8:10 pm

so i'm looking at URD's page and it says these parts are available for the 5rz, 2 rz and 3rz, but no mention of the 1mz....yet A LOT of you guys have these parts. Am i missing something here, or do they fit with no mods and i'm just being retarded :-?

they originally sold a solara kit, but with lack of demand they discountinued it.

There are a few recent threads on how to modify a 190lph walbro pump that u can buy from ebay or watever and make it work.

it might just be me, but i wouldnt use those injectors. Its not that they are bad or anything, dont get me wrong, im sure they work just well..but i like the idea of the Toyota supra injectors more =) and 330cc is plenty for me.

yeah, i thought 318's might be pushing it....plus the turbo i'm looking at has a 7psi wastegate actuator and that'll get me right around what i'm shooting for. Thanks! :sweet: one more thing......i looked up the supra injectors and is300 injectors on this site i order parts from. They look a lil different and i'm guessin the is300 injectors wouldn't work

Why would you take the 330's over the 318's??
The flow rate for the 330's is about 305-310 @ 43.5 of line pressure.
I would think that the 318's would actually be 318cc @ 43.5 of line pressure. RC makes them and 43.5 is an industry standard measurement of how much an injector will flow. Gadget recommends them and sells them (at least DID, but due to no interest (1MZ) no longer does) with his kits.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

I think you may have already got your answer, but IS300 injectors are a no-go. The SC300 and NA supra injectors are the flow rate you want and will drop right in though. Props for being different!

OP - i just ordered a set of 318cc injectors from URD w/connectors. i spoke with Brian over the phone and he assured me that they can still be custom-made to fit the 1MZ engine.

he even asked me if i wanted to piece together a kit, the one that's no longer available to order on the website!

call 'em and find out!
