Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to say hello. I ran into this site while I was looking for tips on putting in a new deck in my solara, so I thought I would join and share my experiences with everyone.
I have a 2004 Toyota Solara that I got for free from my father. It was his old company car, and he bought a new 2007 Avalon and so he gave me this car to help save on gas.
I just installed a Kenwood DDX512 deck along with a Precision Power 250watt amp and a single Kicker CVR 12" sub. I am using the stock interior speakers, and I have to say that it sounds awesome, even for stock speakers. I plan on changing out the interior speakers at some point.
The install looks great, and I will post some pics. (Unsure of how to do that, so if someone doesnt mind sharing how to post pics I would appreciate it.)
Look forward to talking with everyone.
