EBC brake pads - Green Stuff

EBC brake pads - Green Stuff

Postby Sleeper » Wed Jan 17, 2007 11:43 pm

Hey fellas, I need to know of a place where I can get EBC green stuff front (also rear if possible) brake pads. I live in So. Cal and prefer to buy them locally, but if not then i will settle for an online purchase. My problem with rear brake pads is that I've seen TWO different sizes, and not sure which one is right. Thanks.

I just put a set of the green pads on the front of my '02 Solara, but I went with the EBC Ultimax pads for the rear since they don't do much braking. I got them online from autoanything.com, they were about $120 for all four wheels shipped....

Used these before, if you have slotted rotors, please consider carbon metallic pads, the EBC green stuff pads are good on x-drilled, or plain rotors, but the slotted rotors build up too much heat, and the kevlar pads can't hold up too well. I experienced some real bad brake fade, and once I changed to carbon metallic, problems gone.

Just my 2 pennies ;)
