i may be wrong but the fuel pump kit URD use to sell for the 1mz was discontinued a while ago. i looked into it and asked URD a while back and they said that kit wouldnt not work on the 1mz. the pump is the same but the housing apparently isnt the same...or so they told me.

all u need is a walbro 190 fuel pump, and 4 fuel - o rings from ur dealership (should be a few cents each ring).

Then shave down the white end of the fuel pump which goes towards the gas tank or connects to the strainer. Do this with the dremel, shave off the raised edges and take off about .10 of an inch of the plastic. It should then fit perfectly.

^^Yep...I got mine from URD with the assumption that the housing for the pump would have to be modified slightly. Not that big of a deal, Vik's got it right.

Here, maybe this will help u and future "modders" for the fuel pump.

After u have shaven down the unneccessary plastic, ur fuel pump end should look like this.

Image

u will also have to cut a notch in the end cap of the stock end cap. the notch is just so the strainer can fit thru.

These last two pics are taken from the URD manual...

Here is how the orings should look once installed, i stated u needed 4 orings, but the pic has 5, this is because the 5th oring which is on the end is from ur old fuel pump (this portion goes into the fuel pump housing)

Image

and this is the end cap i was talking about, this is how the end result should look after u have fun with the dremel

Anyone know which walbro 190 to use (GSS250/GSS278)? The only difference between the two is that the inlet and outlet of the GSS250 is inline, and the inlet and outlet of the GSS278 is offset.

if the outlet is offset, u dont want that, u want each end to look like the pics i posted above.
