Paint it black by a professional and Im sure you would get a lot for this.. but with ugly red paint almost all remove, itmake it looks so bad I would not spend $1K for this one, that's my opinion.

If u dont have anything constructive to post, then dont post. The sale is not urs, and is within the price range where it should be. Try to buy this somewhere, oh rite, they dont make them any more...and ur worried about the paint?

Speaking of not buying this sc for even 1k is down rite retarded, this is a full kit and the only thing that is lacking on this unit is a fresh coat of paint. These days u get a sc with maybe the sc itself with the idler plate but no bolts like the one for the alternator or watever part that is missing.

For real, ive been reading in too many posts for anyone that is selling something, theres always someone that posts something retarded which has no meaning in the first place. So if u have no intention of being in the market for a supercharger, just skip the FS threads for them.

I don't care if it's "rare" in your mind, it is not in production anymore of course, the car who has this SC was maybe a 1999.
I just gave an opinion. With the red strip paint it doesn't look good and don't make people (me at least) wanna buy this SC at full price. It looks ghetto for my taste. With a Pro paint it would be a major help for buyers, and I don't talk about DIY spray tremclad black rust paint on it lol.

That's it, sometimes you need to say truth and stop licking ass on SG eveytimes somebody try to sell something here.

U know, its people like u who hinder the growth of this board by comments you make. U come in here, in a sale of a COMPLETE UNIT of a rare supercharger kit and them mock at the seller about the flippin paint, which u can easily get fixed by getting it powdercoated.

Look, if u have the money, come into threads that u can afford, if u cant and are not in the market for one, dont bitch about crap that doesnt concern u. If u have the money to walk rite now and are in the market for this sc kit and have dibs on it but want to get it painted, then okay, ur story would hold some water. But you know what? For 99% of people our Camry or Solara is a daily drive car, and yes we like that it looks good, if we can add some HP's, that's a big plus.

But if you wanted a real light big muscles car with milk box seats, why have you bought a big luxurious camry? You should get a Skyline/Supra/etc and get 1000HP.

Dawgz, I don't hinder anything and I like this forum. Not everybody are enought performance oriented to find this SC beautiful. THe SC is probbaly really great and it has anything you need to install, that's perfect. But the powdercoat would be a must BEFORE to sell it.. You will get much more when the 100$ you spent on the paint to make it looks amazingt. at the $3000 asking price, it should be paint, that was just my opinion.

250whp + is performance, and owning a skyline isnt the only end all solution to performance.

yup...I have a performance car now....it's about as fast as a stock supra TT minus the launch....and I have the heavy stuff while being fast...I like to do the performance stuff in luxury...you know, a/c and sound systems....

Last week I was with a friend who bought a Skyline, and you can't even think about compete cars like that, it's just a pure rocket on 4 wheels.

SG is not made just for people who get exited about having 250HP under the hood. my father has about 300HP under his cadillac and never talked me about it. Soon Hyundai will sell a big Genesis 375-hp 4.6L V8 and sell it to old granny. Do you think she will open a forum and get exited like you do? You can't pretend be a performance car while adding pounds with 200lbs subwoofer,amp,LED everywhere,etc.. but you can be a sport luxurious car for sure.

My car is a daily driver car, stock for sure, engine running like a new one, interior quiet and well done, motor powerfull when you need it, that's it. I add a sub,radio for music,repair few things that's it. I find on SG lots of good infos to repair the car, buying pieces, tutorials are amazing here, people are friendly, lots of amazing pictures who represent well the solara, lot of usefull stuff...for me that's a good forum.
