FYI it's 7/30/03... I'm anxious too, but I also want a quality product, so these things shouldn't be rushed, we've waited this long for a CAI what's another few weeks? Besides I'd rather not know an exact date, because most times companies don't meet that date and it's very disappointing and it also makes them look bad.

EDIT:

Damn Yanks beat me to the date!

hello everyone,

I know everyone is getting anxious but i wouldn't want to commit to a date if i dont know myself.

We have a few different products that are in production right now, among those products we will also get the solara parts. It takes a little bit until everything will come in but i promise you that these parts will be made and are already in the process.

Waiting is not fun but once we will show you the production versions you will be happy that you waited, trust me it will be worth it.

Thanx, Eyal

does a CAI affect the car adversely in the winter? summer is almost over, and if i install it soon, then i'll get a good few months before it starts getting cold. but later, like in november and december, when it snows here in ohio, will I face any problems?

kronos98,

I live in Southern California and i honestly dont have a clue what it would be like living in a place where it snows. My best answer would be to leave or put back the stock intake system when its snows and install our intake when the weather is not as bad, just to play it safe then sorry.

I am assuming you wont be racing around in the snow anyhow, so there wont be any point in having more horsepower over safety in these terms.

Thanx, Eyal

your engine will love the colder air of winter!
it should be fine, if anything happens it'll be a check engine light, no biggie.

i wasn't planning on racing in the snow! :D the thought never occurred to me...until now(?)

haha. j/k~

but i guess I don't want the hastle of installing and removing the CAI every season.

will there be any problem with ice formation or anything inside the CAI when it gets cold? and why would there be a check engine light? will rock salt cause a problem with the filter, as in physical damage?

thanks

kronos98,

There shouldn't be any problems with the intake, i was just saying because some people were worried that if you are in an area where it snows and rains a lot and you want to play it safe you might want to put the stock intake on until the weather changes and so on. Otherwise there shouldn't be any kind of problems with this intake, it is well designed.

No, you should not get the check engine light for any reason with this intake. All of this will be tested before it gets shipped out.

I'll keep the list the way it is right now and will just make a note of it when there is someone new who wants to join in for any of these products. Once we have the products tested and i will show you the new pictures i will contact everyone and if someone wants out of a specific parts that wont be a problem, we will just figure it out at that time.

Thanx. Eyal
