Haha well this didnt bother me before but now that everyone has pointed it out its a big sore spot for me. So my question is:
What methods do you guys do to clean up all the wiring and pipes?

The problem is clearly depicted here.

The way the car is stock is so cluttered anyway, I don't think you can do much.

haha you looking into this too. Well ive been researching.

You have to extended those vaccum lines so that they run underneath something.

Im looking at this right this moment.

not the best idea when boosted. Longer hoses may lead to collapsing hoses under vacuum or inaccurate pressures. Generally you would want to make the hoses as short as possible for performance, same as you would for electrical.

I would understand though if it were for a show car.

This has been on my mind since I had the car, I attempted a lot, like longer hoses, zip ties.. none work. best to leave it as it is Tracy.

I just shortened up/organized all of the lines in that red circle this weekend- Ill post a pic tonight. They arent totally tucked, but they all have a place to run and be out of the way and are just about as short as they can be to keep things organized.

I think all you can do is zip ties.

I know i'm not S/C'ed
But here's my setup.

Image

This is how i routed my Magnacore wires.

If i can get my hands on and S/C, i'll find a way to make it look clean and tidy.

actually yeah
hanging around some show car guys I started to notice the lack of ugly black wiring and hoses underneath engine bays. I may, in the future, modify all the wiring and hoses to be shorter and maybe steel braided/loomed somehow so they dont look so tangled and horrible.
Thanks for the insight guys

if you know somebody who does fiberglass...make engine coverings like all the new cars have...

me and a buddy thought about it before since he does fiberglassing....but I don't want to go through the hassle of moving things when I need to do work
