New to group

Hello all:
I have a 1999 solara, v-6 5-spd, and eventually will be playing around with it a bit more. Lack of money for the time being, but I do have a cold air intake on it. I'm looking for ideas to increase hp, and am open to suggestions. I'd rather save up money and wait to make a good investment than do something cheap that will only be temporary and/or screw up anything. I know what I want to do for eye appeal, but that'll take some time. I'll post pictures soon
