Works better for rear wheel drives.

^^^ Coming from a guy with staggered 19s. (same as mine)

Width is the stagger that works for RWD. Wheel size (diameter) really makes no diff. It's all in the look. If the 19s and 18s you use are all 8", then you're not staggered.

Our rims are off the G35 and have 8.5" in the rear. For the G35 it means more rubber on the road for the powered wheels. For us it's more weight to drag around.

Correct, my wheels are from the sedan, not the coupe. They just look really similar

If your car is FWD, keep all wheels same size. If you want outside wheels to appear further out, use spacers.

i do have.... 18x8 in the front and 18x8.5 in my rears

There is no gain. Its just for looks and is350 comes staggered..

Anywho, i have seen cars with those sizes. What you can do is keep the width and the offset similar. This will help it with the balance in the foot print. But with 19's there will be a weight difference.

Unless you are getting them cheap, theres no reason to do it.

For Gen 1.5: What's a better set up:

Choice 1: 19x8.50/+32 offset Rear & 18x8.50/+35 offset Front

Choice 2: 19x8.50/+32 offset Rear & 18x8.0/+38 offset Front
