Who wants projector retrofitted headlights. This time its for reals. I met a guy up at the last S2000 meet and he says he has a shop. He's a really cool guy and looks like he does LOTS of custom work and the Solara/Camry is one of them. I know the price is a little steep, but his work is high quality. Ill provide a link and feel free to PM me with questions. I dont work for him or get paid anything. Just trying to pass on the word in case anyone is in the market for real reatrofitted projectors.

Hey, Tracey

Do you know if they modified the projector at all? Like shave off extra metal or anything?

What sets IZNTRBL apart from most retrofitters is their capability of doing a custom vacuum formed chrome shroud. This is key for a solara retro since the dimensions of the headlight are a bit weird and normal shrouds don't cover up the whole headlight.

you have to provide them your own set of headlights.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

:o so it's not cheaper than customlightz
99% of people don't have a second set of headlights and they need headlights to drive on roads.

It sould be a price for everything.

The FX35 projectors use a normal D2S bulb with a solenoid that pulls the cutoff shield down for highs.

I had to provide my own set to Bjorn @ customlightz, I don't think they buy you a set.

Ok, so noob question...the HID bulbs I have now, 6500k, I would be able to re-use if I did do this? or are they not compatible? And is the actual projector (the half moon-shaped piece) just something that surrounds the bulb? (very noob at this)
