Well after tons of contemplation i finally decided to install my afc on my own. I don't think i've ever been so nervous in my life. So i read tons of stuff last night on how to properly solder and your guys post. Thank you all so much for the advice and help. It turned out well, my car started (i almost wet myself with relief)! so far, ive only driven it for 10 mins and i felt a boost in torque in my first gear and after 3000 rpm my car launches. I called SS and they are busy tuning bmw tuner cars all weekend. I will get in on Monday and get this puppy street tuned.

Question:

Where's a good place around so cal. to get my car dynoed for cheap?

Anyone have any hook ups?

Awesome man! Can't wait to hear the news...

The oil plug broke while changing oil, but you installed AFC by yourself. J/K on the plug!

lol. All i can say that if you used to take your car to shops to change ur oil and you decide one day that you want to change your own. BE very careful, they might have installed one of those gravity plugs. Do not unscrew the outside bolt. You unscrew the little one in the middle. The bolts are hollow too be careful.

Ain't that funny... I thought if you wanted Mint Chocolate ice cream they wouldn't push you into having it on a banana split... WTH?

You should tune the car since you have a few upgrades, but they shouldn't be so pushy!

Updates?

I finally got my car tuned over the weekend by split second. There was only minor adjustments that they made because it was already tuned for the headers. After a couple runs with friends i feel that these mods i've made have greatly increased my torque/hp. I would love to get my car dynoed and if anyone knows a good cheap place around long beach area to get a car dynoed let me know. Thanks.
