Boost Gauge Tubing

Postby akora12 » Sun Apr 27, 2008 4:48 pm

I reserched this topic, but didn't find the answer I'm looking for. Where does everyone have their tubing run through the firewall? The 6 ft. of tubing included with my gauge is too short to run through the electrical boot on the passenger side, and I'm not too keen on drilling a hole through the firewall. Does anyone know of a passthrough on the driver's side?

Uhm... look where your steering column is, there is like a 1-2 inch hole wher a lotta wires run thru, thats where my gauge wires run through as well as everything else.

I just went and looked and I can't find any wires running through on the driver's side. Where does it come out in the engine bay?

I think that is where mine is (roughly- since it's not through a rubber boot), Akora, if you want, I can take a pic for you tomorrow in the morning before I head off to school?

I'd def. appreciate it if you get a chance. I'll probably finish the install up tomorrow afternoon.

I found a hole in my firewall near the brake pedal, but I think it was drilled by the previous owner- worth a check though. I was having a hell of a time finding a pass through last week when I ran my wiring for my wideband.
