Watch the camera shake. The funny thing is i put the camera on a home depot cart. I never knew my exhaust was loud enough to shake the camera like that. :o

shhhhhh jeff ur ruining my moment. :P

i should have a video of my jpp headers later on this evening. Omg i am in love with these headers. When i get to about 4500 rpm and shift you hear this woosh! almost like a turbo but its just from the headers sucking in so much air.

lemmez, I believe that is the best sounding exhaust combination ever (NO RASP!)... ur only missing the dyno sheets. Unless anybody tells me otherwise, Zoomer's will be my exhaust choice.

BTW, please explain in detail what your exhaust system consists of... JPP headers, stock, Zoomer's (what size)? Does it still have catalytic converter? I'm interested in leaving cats on car, since they will make me pass smog tests... funny thing though, last time I took a car out for inspection, they didn't even connect checker to computer, only to wires like older cars.

OK heres my mods list:

Jpp header
Weapon - R secret intake
i have custom piping of 2.5" from cat back
1 cat converter (jpp header replaced front cat)
i have the barrel muffler by zoomers 6" in diameter w/inlet of 2.5"
and i have the sawed off tip (because it looked closest to stock)
as soon as i get my s/s afc controller from tacti i will get this beast tunned and have numbers for u guys. :multi:

oh and this set up is not smog legal here in cali. I'm pretty sure its a automatic fail once i removed my first cat.

Thanks for the info!

First, you simply replaced the zoomer's 4" with a 6"...same 2.5" inlet then... :sweet:

I'm not sure about Cali, but when I took my Taurus for its last inspection, it only had one cat. Months prior both cats were taken out due to clogging and replaced by a single cat. It passed emissions testing. How would you go around the Cali tests then?

Suppose we have a hookup too... just never taken that route before!

http://www.dmv.org/ca-california/smog-check.php

OMG, I just read you guys have 6 years without mandatory SMOG check if you pay a $12 fee, and once not exempt every other renewal period thereafter? Our state would never have such... they'd think going broke on that. Same as PoPos and their ticket quotas... the government probably makes more out of tickets and such than from our tax returns.

Yep! That is what I liked about the car at first... even though its a 4-cyl, it moves quite well, due to good gear ratios, and still achieves good fuel economy (up to 36.5mpg is good enough for me).

I voted good...it's not bad at all for a 4cyl...not bad at all..

but it also kinda sounds just like a civic at the same time....not the buzzing ones though, of course.

Sounds pretty good to me, And I don't think it sounds good just as a 4 cyl, I like the sound. I'd have to hear it in person more but from what I can hear now it sound pretty bad ass. Quiet when necessary and loud under throttle. The way any exhaust system should sound.
