Well, I finally had someone drive my car and I drove behind. It's rich... I think the person who was behind me when I was driving was a moron! It's obviously gas smelling. I don't know why I believed him.

Here's the link to the pics of the Neo install:

Now that I have a Neo and the problem is what everyone thought... I'll play with the neo while driving so I can get her to stop knocking till I can dyno tune her.

Aso for the wideband... I want one, I would rather have one but they are expensive. The one I want is the NGK AFX. When I order one, I want to install it where the clock(remove the clock and put the wideband gauge where it was) is. Keep it very clean looking.

question:

Since I'm using the up arrow on the neo. Can I still use the lo thr too? Right now I've only tuned high thr.

You should be able to tune both high & low throttle

I was going to say....

as for the tuning, it's best to tune high throttle first and leave the low throttle all at 0%. After you've gotten the high throttle right, then mess with the low throttle.

but to be perfectly honest, without a wideband, you shouldn't really be touching the adjustments much at all. only do small adjustments until you don't smell fuel anymore. beyond that...leave it until you get it dyno tuned and with properly a/f equipment.

exactly, i tuned my car with out the AFR Meter & found out i was still running lean when i ran my car on the dyno this weekend, so now i've got my Innovate LM-1 installed & am running perfect 14.7 Low throttle & 13.2 - 12.7 high throttle,

Wait to tune it untill you get your AFR equip or until you can run on the dyno with wideband

That's exactly what I've done so far. 4800 upto 6000rpm's is perfect and I'm not touching that or 0-1000rpm's as well. Plus I have someone watch the rpms and thr% when tuning.

I think in two months(when I have the cash) I will hit the local dyno.

How are you tuning for low rpm, when the ecm/02 sensors will always compensate back to 14.7 afr?
Gadget tunes the low rpms (closed loop) first, then tunes for the wot (open loop).

^So your saying I should tune the low then the high?

Basically I'm watching my thr % and feeling the car kinda hesitate/kick because of being to rich while seeing what my rpm's are.

Gadget has a tuning guide. While using an obdII scanner and monitoring your 02 sensors to see what they are doing ie: adding/cutting fuel, adjust your trim to zero for closed loop tuning. That will be a reference when your car goes into open loop. If you don't do this your car will go to the parameters set from the factory. I use onboarddiagnostics as a scan tool.
Then using a wideband 02 sensor you then tune for open loop.
