Solara se vs se sport suspension question

Solara se vs se sport suspension question

Postby lemmez » Mon Apr 21, 2008 6:14 pm

Hey guys,

I want to lower my ride soon. I have a 2004 solara se - 4 cylinder (not the se sport). What is the difference between the se and se sport struts? i've searched and was unable to find my answer. I only found the difference between the sle and se sport struts. I called the stealership to see compare the difference between prices if i went through them to replace my struts with se sport. To add to my confusion, se sport struts cost the same as the se model struts. Im so confused. Someone please help.

If i add trd springs to my car will my ride be bouncy we se struts (not se sport struts)?

If you don't get the Sport struts and you get the lower TRD springs, then you will bounce! I know - I rode like that for a couple of months. Nasty! :honda:

Like PXL said, it has stiffer struts... you basically need stiffer than SE stock struts if you want to lower it!
