Hey everybody. The name is Ryan and i'm new to the forums. Been a member of ToyotaNation for 2 years, and stumbled across this site a few months ago. Really great site, and there are some sick looking cars up here. My current car is a 2000 Camry LE. It's Super White/Oak with Oak Interior. 67k miles. Alloys, leather, sunroof, etc. I've had it for 2 years and the only thing wrong with her is the broken sunroof. Anyway, here are a few pics:

Whats wrong with your sunroof, mine is broken too. The little motor still works just the rubber gasket is preventing the glass from goin back. (1999 Solara)

Thanks for all the comments!

The problem with my sunroof is the exact same problem you're having. On the drivers side my track piece is also broken. The Toyota dealership quoted me around $1000 for a new assembly and labor. I'm gonna wait until summertime to get it fixed. Luckily it isn't leaking, but I still miss it.

Unfortunately, even the parts for the sunroof assembly are expensive if you were to fix it on your own. I believe I quoted around $500 for a new motor and track when my friend's stopped working on his camry. I'm just praying mine stays working for a while.

My god, 1K! I was hoping for like $30 for a new gasket to put around it and hopefully that will fix the problem. I never thought the track could be messed up. :o

If Toyota could order me a new track instead of the whole new assembly, that would be great. I'd rather not spend a ton of money on an un-needed assembly.

Thanks for all the comments though! :)
