Rattle in passenger door when going over railroad tracks etc

Hi, I am new to the site and not very proficient on the web. If you post an answer to my question would you tell me how I can check back and find it?

My wife has a 2008 Toyota Solara V6, Red. When we go over railroad tracks or hit a dip I hear a rattle in the passenger door. I took it to the dealer and they said it is body flex but that does not make sense to me.
Thanks, Glenn

Glenn,

Welcome the to solaraguy. The people here have lots of knowledge that you will be able to apply as necessary.

I would take your car back to the dealer. Ash them for a loaner and to call you when the car is fixed.

What they are saying is not right and your car is under warranty. Some dealers will see how much they can get away with and you should not stand for it.
Without ammunition, the USAF would be just another very expensive flying club.

Definitely get the dealer to fix it. Fight them with logic -- say that if it's "body flex", then why isn't the other side making a noise too?

;) Welcome to SG and I hope you'll find this forum to be an useful source of Solara information!

Rattle in passenger door

Sounds like good advice. I was wondering if other Solara owners have experienced this same problem and if so what the fix was. The more info I can give the dealer the better chance I have of getting it fixed.
Thanks,Glenn
