EGR setting off code

Have you found out if your EGR valve was bad, or if it was in fact that dramatic bend in the pipe that was causing the CEL? I am looking at buying a stock EGR tube, and having that as a template for someone to make me one. I would rather utlize the stock one I have but if that bend will cause the CEL then i will have to take another route.

nah i havent messed with it. Im probably not going to since its not affecting performance and Im leaving tuesday for boot camp.
It is gonna get annoying having a CEL though. But i have my handy code reader to make sure that its only that.. and ill clear it every now and then.
