What has the best looking drop??? (Springs)

Looking at the Teins, but they're 1.4" in the front & 1.7" in the back

Any advice??? Looking for a good looking drop, I eventually intend on putting some 18" rims on the car with wheel spacers to bring them out to fender width.

If you are wanting the slammed look, you'll need coilovers. If you just want a basic, sporty lowering go with Eibach or Tein lowering springs. You can find these on eBay pretty cheap. A set of Tein lowering springs, for about 190 dollars with free shipping.

The TRD lowered springs will drop the front 1.25" and 1.75" rear.

thats just a drop. Kinda nasty too since it drops the rear more than the front. HE wants the BEST drop which if its not with coilovers, it has to be the tien springs hands down

I believe the TRD springs ARE the Eibach springs. But yeah, it's weird how TRD decided to only lower the front that much. It's actually an even drop. The Tein will drop the front a bit lower.

I'm not sure, but maybe some spring manufacturers try to lower the car evenly in terms of the overall stance (even if the gaps vary in the front and rear wheel wells)? I have the Eibach pro-kit (1.2" drop all around) and it's pretty much even when you look at the car from the side far away. Not sure on the solara though..

I bought TRD b/c the drop looked more even compared to Tein. Tein drops a bit more in the front. I had that stance on my accord and hated it, so I eventually opted for coilovers.

Don't buy springs based on the advertised drop in height. You'll get a better idea of how they look by researching pictures on here.

you got it the other way around....1.7" front & 1.4" rear...tein always has a lower drop in the front than the rear to have that "even" look...tein's the best spring out there in the market!!!!

Anybody with pictures of the TRD springs on a gen1/1.5? I can't seem to find them, anywhere, either, and am interested in keeping the stock struts with a small drop solely to nullify the huge fender gap that would otherwise be there. Need to keep as much travel as possible for Missouri roads and weather.

^ if your going to use stock struts then putting on lowering springs , its not worth the time and money spent, Stock struts and lowering spings = :crazyeyes:

your ride will be harsh and bouncy
