installing a apexi rsm

installing a apexi rsm

Postby anwagbo3000 » Sun Mar 30, 2008 3:10 pm

I'm installing my apexi rsm (I have tried to sell it and have had no buyers, so I am going to install it(what the hell)) I was thinking of just going down to glenn burnie to HPR INC and getting it installed, I think they are gonna charge me anywhere from 80 to 150 dollars.

But I wanna install it myself, I just need a short write up of what I need and what I need to do, and if you guys suggesst I take it to the shop and have them do it, then that is fine as well, but I don't know how I am going to learn to do these type of modification without hands on learning, I'm am pretty sure the guys over at HPR are not gonna let me watch the installation

And I know this gauge is pointless, but its just sitting here and I want to get it installed, I mean I payed for it, don't know why I paid for it but when I bought a couple of years ago I was young and didn't know what I was doing with my money (long story), but yeah, any help would be good

No need to bump this again. Your bump is only 40 minutes after your original post.

Why don't you have the installation ?? And I think there is not many advantage to install one of those for daily driving...the main purpose of those unit is when you are tuning, performance wise, your car.

I have a G-Tech unit RR...and I used it some few times yet. The accelerometer inside the tool is pretty sensitive to vertical Gs, that provoke some data reading errors. Would be the same, I think , for the Apexi unit

I don't mean to bring up old stuff, and I can't sell this meter, the purpose of this thread was to find out if their is a easier way of installing this meter, getting directions from someone who has already done it is way easier than a manual, especially from some one with a gen 2
