Transmission knockkkkkkkkkk!

Transmission knockkkkkkkkkk!

Postby DrLove » Sat Mar 29, 2008 1:31 pm

Sometimes my car do a "knock" sound, seems to come from the transmission. I feel it just under my seat, like if something was hit under the car. It happenned about 6 times in past 4 months. Also 3 times I needed to stop the car and "park", return to "D" and continue...there was a little vibration sound coming from the transmission..

Somebody know what's the problem? "D" were not well engage?

I checked my transmission oil, seems prefect, right level, right color. Maybe it's because it's winter and cold.

thanks for your help. :(

Today, it is not that cold at all...so I wouldn't think it is the reason of your problem. Maybe it isn't the tranny...but yeah, if you tell me that playing with tranny (D to P then to D). I don't know what it can be with this symptom (knock sound under the car). If I hear something about it...I'll come post here.
