Just a quick question for you, is that indash DVD a Pyle DVD150 which you repainted the trim?

I have the same one, but silver. I've been thinking of repaint it to match with my interior color.

Do you still have the DVD's manual? I bought it without one, and wonder what are those two yellow video out?
Look like they're both the same to me, could you please look it up in the manual?

Thanks

The indash dvd unit i have it not the pyle.. its the Lanzar dvd150. i think pyle made a copy of that. but my original trim was silver and i painted it to be black.

its was a long process even tho its such a small part. I sanded down the original paint then primer to sit for 3 hours then light coast of non gloss hi tamp paint.. it looks pretty nice but i had to take apart the face on it. this project took about 8 hours or so.

the 2 yellow ones are inputs. they have that available just incase you are running just a basic LCD monitor which only has one input. this give you extra you can put extra stuff like PS2 gamecube etc.

sorry i dont have the manual for it. but if he have any question on the unit itself let me know.. i kinda have all functions memorized. thanks

Thank Kenny.

It took you that much work to paint the face. I might just spray paint over mine to save time.

About the 2 yellow ones, are you sure they're both input? Should it be one for video out, one for input?

In my Pyle dvd unit, there are 4 RCA in the back, 1 pair of audio out (white + red), and then 2 yellows RCA. I'm using one right now for the Alpine CVA 1003 monitor, so the other one must be the input one?

Could you check for me please?

Thanks.

im sorry.. yea.. its suppose to be a complete set..
1. red white and yellow --- output..

2.red white and yellow --- input..

but also take into consideration yours is a pyle..

i have 3 yellow plugs in the back.. 2 sets of output and 1 set of input...

hope this kinda helps..

Thank Kenny for helping.

Well, it seems like the Lanzar is a better unit. Mine doesn't have input RCa which I really need for my carputer as the Alpine only has one set of input in.

Btw, what is your lanzar model? I couldn't find it on Lanzar.com or google.com. Wondering if Ebay has any.

Thanks again.

Its a discontinued model..

I think it was something like Lanzar lsdvd150. i have to pull the unit out to find out.

This model came out when LCD monitors first came out.. 2000 model.
Good luck finding it.. i found it at a local stereo shop that had them instock and on sale. I purchased the Pyle one before on ebay but ended up selling it cuz i didn't like it due to not enough input in the rear. i mite be selling my unit so if you are interested.. let me know..

thanks
