replaced tranny...now BADD gas milage??

okay so i have a 2001 solara Automatic 4-cyl
18.5 gal tank
has about 107,000 miles on it
tranny replaced at 105,000

when i bought the car the transmission f**ked up on me and i had to replace it. i took it to the mechanic and they replaced it when a 2000 camry transmission and it ran fine. until i noticed that a FULL tank of gas gave me barely 200 miles. i was veryyyy mad, considering gas prices these days. so i used some of that solution to clean your injectors and the next tank went back up to about 300 to the gallon but thats still VERY low. i think im supposed to get about 450-500miles per tank.
soo any ideas why this is happening? ive been losing so much money on gas the past month. been using the fuel system cleaners but its not helping at all now its back down to 200/tank.
could it be the tranny?
pleeasee some one help me

what were u getting before ur tranny went bad
i have a 05 4cyl....same engine and i can get around 270-330 per tank
its partially because of all the la traffic and parking at school i probably sit idle about half the time my car is on....
so if u do a lot of traffic dricing and such 300 to a tank isn't so bad
now i dunno y u only get 200 now... but the 300 doesn't mean tehres a problem

please don't clean your carburetor...well, if you do, good luck finding it...

honestly, take it back to the guys that installed it and tell them. I have never heard this before. maybe you have a gas leak? or a fuel line/filter thats damaged? have you noticed any spots on the pavement lately?

I had the 5sfe in my old camry and rarely got over 21 mpg...they really aren't expected to get 500 miles per tank.
