Will this Lip kit work on 99 SLE?

Hi everyone, New to this site & solara modding

Anywho... i've been wanting a TRD lip kit set up for a little while now & came accross two sites

Kaminari
& Street Concepts

The Kaminari seems to be a Genuine TRD Lip kit for my vehicle

& the Street Concepts lists a lip kit for 99 - 02 solara & shows a 1.5 Gen solara & i've got a 1st Gen

Street Concepts kit:

This kit is much less expensive than the Kaminari kit but I don't know if the Gen 1.5 lip kit will match up with the body of the 1st gen....

yup, will work, comes unpainted, its the kit that most have here on SG. Send a private message to xaviar he/his company has a deal with Kaminari and can get the kit for 670+shipping.

does anyone have any experience with the street concepts brand? It's obviously a replica kit but i'm curious about the quality

yes. half of us use that brand. I do. and I have it . its a gen 1.5 kit but I have a gen1 like you. it fits fine. only fronts are slightly different but no mods are needed to make it fit, ull see it. get it. buy it. its polyurethane, its still real good. buy it. okay?ok.

is there kit still around, a lot of companies have lost interest in the solara, demand isnt that great. How much is the street concepts kit? Kaminari not a cheap kit, not fiberglass, and will bolt on without modifications...

I would go with kaminari, the other kit is probably a cheap fiberglass knockoff...

^^^ i agree. by-the-way, you can always tell a fake trd kit because, 1- doesnt come with the black center rear bumper piece
2- side skirts arent arched. you can see the arch nicely in CamryOnBronze's sig. pic above.
and 3- the trd/kaminari is made of polyurethane, fakes are made of fiberglass.
