I'm not sure this will be of any help to you, but I had a noise, not loud, but bothersome. Like yours, it did not happen all the time and it sounded like it was coming from either the very front part of the driver door or the edge of the dash. One day I was drying the car off after washing it and I bumped the rear quarter panel with my hand. I heard the noise! This time it was much louder. I started bumping the rear panel to trace the noise. It was the rear license plate. I put some foam under it and noise was gone. While the noise sounded like it was coming from the door, if fact it was not. While you may not be a lucky as myself, you might try lightly bumping some of the outside panels and see if you can hear the noise. Just a thought.

Did you pull a "Vacation" and leave your dog tied to the bumper?

lHoward's right, from the driver's seat sound direction can be very misleading. Helps to get another person in the car to try to locate it. (try backseat too.) I had one that I was sure was at the dash, but turned out to be the crossbar on the conv top right over my head.

If it only happens when you're fast, it's probably something loose in the wind on the outside. If it's anytime you're moving, then maybe it's a dragging thing from underneath. If you really think it's door, drive with the panel off.

If you post later and say that it was your seatbelt dragging, we'll all have to flame you. 8)

kingkakyle -- Thanks for the reply. but sound doesn't come from under the body it was came out somewhere inside the driver side door..

Linmk2 -- I'll check my rear bumper again.. sometimes sound came from neither front or rear side of door so it's hard to say.. thanks for the tips.

Down2ThC -- the funny thing is if I drive fast it didn't hear anything. but when you turn or uneven road or some bumpy road in drive like 40mph and less then the dangling sound came out. .. I hold the seatbelt and check the seat belt cover and everything that I could as well but sound still somewhere inside the door  ...thanks for the tips.
