So I was driving normally and out of nowhere the check engine light came on as well as the TRAC OFF light. I went to autozone to see what they tell me and they gave me the code P0420 (if I remember correctly). At any rate, the first diagnostic turned out that I need a catalytic converter. Other possible issues included engine misfire. Has anyone ran into this problem?

I had that TRAC OFF light too... my CEL was P0135 (o2 sensor) But it went off, not sure why it was on there. Just give it some time and it may just go off. As far as the CEL it has yet to disappear.

Turns out i need to replace my catalytic converter. What catalytic converters fit the 03 Solara as well (ie. 99-03 V6 Solara cat)? Please specify the years and models. Thanks guys.
