Nope. Car spent a whole day back at the original dealership. wouldn't work on it until i got pissed. Fed up. Finally agreed to check the switch. I thought they would simply adjust it. I don't think they even tried. Ordered a new switch, suppose to install it Thursday, provided it comes in. Does anybody know if the switch has adjustability? Or is it fixed mounted? If I could get my hands on a diagrahm or just some sound advice, I'd fix the SOB myself.
Thanks to all, especially Sean (sman...u rock!) for the help and pain-sharing.

The pictures show some sort of a nut in there, it is either to mount, or to adjust it. You can find this in the factory service manual in the stickies. If they are replacing the assembly for free, don't bother adjusting it.
