today i bought a hid conversion kit, not the ebay ones, and installed them in the shop but i am having problems with it. first the lights are like blinking, they said that it was the day lights (drl) that was giving this problem but i dont know, and second the light output is very low dont know why, i am like dissapointed of this:x, anyway if someone have a solution to it, will be very appreciated.... :(

thanks in advance

the blinking will happen with the drl's... just flash your high beams a couple times and theyll turn on fully...
as for the light output... they could be installed wrong... how many k's are they? 6000k, 8000k, etc...?

the bad output is due to the high k's... anything over 6000k is just for looks...
if the flash doesnt work, turn on your headlight and off and on and off and see if that works... is it both headlights blinking or just one? try switching the ballasts and see if that works... check connection as well...

Do you have a separate wire harness for the kit? DRL's run at a lower wattage which can cause problems with the ballast.

hook up a fuse and set it so its getting powered directly from your battery that way when the drl are on its using the juice from the battery " set up an relay ....

theres a gray plug located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, unplug it. then unplug the little sensor on your dash. comes out easy.

the sensor is that red nipple looking thing on the passenger side of the dash... youve never realized that thing was there? maybe you dont have one? either way, pop it out, unplug it. the gray plug might work by its self but its not 100% as long as the dash sensor is still plugged in.
