that's to track the keys so they don't get lost!!
we have them, but they're rectangular white plastic thingies! got me scared there missay!

yeah, its a pretty simple system. all the keys are in 2 drawers, you log-on to a computer, type in which key you want, it opens the drawer and tells you where in the drawer it is. close the drawer and you're done. this way, if a key is not in the machine, it'll tell you who last took it out (since everyone has their own log-on).
so it doesn't track where exactly the key is (when not in the machine) but it helps store the 900 some odd keys we have!
keys still get lost, but it helps a little.

Hey everyone...my mom and I were sitting down together last night and she got all excited to see I posted her car and had to read the entire post, lol. she wanted me to make sure I told everyone, "THANKS!" (oh, any mother agrees w/ you, TXsolaraSLE, on the green/gold package combo)

She's insane...she's having WAY too much fun buying stuff off of ebay for her car...last night she ordered some custom shade for the windshield to block the sun out when it's parked since it gets so hot from the dark leather, she just couldn't understand why I didn't want one since the guy had 2 in stock for a solara

("ohhh, but melisssaaaa...it's only 30bucks!! and it's custom!!)
