lo beam is low beam

Maybe the wires are installed reverse or something.

I dont think its a common problem.

We dont get snow here. But i did go up to tahoe with my dads 4runner with the same HID kit. IT was running fine but that was only a couple days.

Im sure other people can let you know about that. Although to me, i dont think its a big issue.

well, since this thread has been revived...

a new update is the fact that they HIDs didn't last too long on my (sister's) solara

I took off the H4s a good 6 months ago if not longer because one of the ballast's ignitors pretty much stopped working altogether- it'd fire up about 1once out of 5 or 6 times.

Then the fogs also went. I haven't had time to pull them out, so she just doesn't use them anymore.

I've had a couple ebay kits (that cost a bit more) work great and are still working great. But the particular ones from this seller did not in the long run, and had slight problems even from the beginning.

so, buyer beware. you get what you pay for.

^^ yup..

UPdate on my HID's.

one of the bulbs decided to take a crap on me about 2 months ago. Im sure it was cause my GF kept stalling out while learning to drive at night that put strain on them.

But yea..

OCT 11 2007 and is June 2009.

So you guys be the judge.

I also picked up a set of hid bulbs with 2 year warranty for 25bucks.

not worth my time or money to send them back and forth- that, and I'm back in canada now

I'd rather spend 20-30bucks more and get a better quality set in the first place.

but hey, it's all a learning experience
