I need my tires balanced and an alignment that I'll be getting done from two different shops.

Which should I have done first?

I was thinking balancing should be done first since they take off the wheels... :-?

It really doesn't matter the two are independent of each other.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.
