I think at the time Dat's had some family or some $ issue going on and was trying to patch up some things on his end. I might be remembering wrong but I do remember he didn't want to let that baby go.

You're right. I special ordered mine from the dealer in November of 2000. It arrived in January of 2001 and I paid close to $25,000 for it. Here it is only seven years later and KBB says if I were to sell it, I'll probably only get $7000 for it. Even less of a trade in value.

But do you know what? To me, my Solara is priceless. I have no plans of selling any time soon.

Said it perfectly Quick. So many times back then I thought of gettin a newer car, but I just can't do it. To me my is priceless and I know no one will ever baby it better than me and understand it better than me. I'm running my 'lara to the ground (with plenty of love).

its that same reason i want to start some major work on my car and use a g35 for a daily.
it makes more sense to turn a g35 into a project car but i just love my solara so much

AHAHAHAHA. it did bring memories though. Then after I got over my hung over this morning and started playing with the new parts on the supra.. Totally forgot about the solara again haha. Supras almost done.
