PERFORMANCE CHIPS???

anyone know of any performance chip for the solara. i found a whole bunch on ebay but they range from 9.00 to 65.00 that just sounds a little too cheap for a real mod chip. ofcourse they all say they are meant specifically for the listed vehicle, wont damage engine or ecu, or void warranty. if anyone knows or tried one, let me know please.
