Anyone with 20" rims please help!

I KNOW! Too big.... Anyone that has 20" rims on their Gen 1 Solara, what size tires do you have? I just got rid of my 19" rims with 225/35/19 and I had a bit of room left before it touched the springs.

I am looking at a set of 20 inch rims with 245/35/20 tires. Rims have at +38 offset. I am not worried about the fenders, I can roll those if necessary. But I want to make sure I am not rubbing the springs.

Thanks

I did not say they are too big, but most of the members here say that. You just couldnt help yourself though... You just had to comment. Maybe this will help.... I know that most of you feel that 20 in rims are too big, but I do not agree (This is called an opinion...You have yours, and I have mine, unless you have FACTS to show that 20 in rims are too big). So if there is anyone actually has 20 inch rims on their car or knows the fitment, please respond.

If he wants to be a Donk -ey, let him.....

I have to agree with Jeff, 20" would look really dumb on the Solaras.

I have had 19's and 20's on my solara and I believe my tires with the 20's were 225/30/20 but I don't remember the offset.
I'm not sure if the rims you are asking about will fit but you can try to ask a local rim shop or search online (google not here) and i'm sure somebody will have an answer for you.
BTW, I went thru the same thing with the uncessary comments so just be prepared for more. I personally liked my car with the 19's and the 20's and that's all that mattered to me.
Like I have said before if there were 20's with the TRD logo on them or if they produced a gain in horsepower then everybody on here would be talking about them and looking to buy them. Good luck with the wheels and if you get them don't forget to post the pics or email them to me if you don't want to hear everybody elses comments.
