I'm pretty sure someone had asked this question b4... but i tried the search function and still got nothing... maybe im just bad with the search function...
neways... my question is... is it possible to fit the grill from the gen 1.5 to the gen 1 ?? i know the headlights are different from both gens.. but the shape of the grill is similar... has anyone tried ??
anyone on the same boat as me ??

you need to change the whole front end!

Yes, the angles are different. I already tried when I did my conversion awhile back.

they are different, different fascia and angles and such....the headlights are just a single illustration of the differences.

if i'm not mistaken though, astro would be the person you would want to talk to about doing the front end swap...

pretty easy if i remember how he explained it, mostly it's just unscrewing and unclipping the gen 1 front end, and bolting up the 1.5 front end, no problem. and IMO it looks pretty sick.
