The TRD springs are the lightess drop for our cars. The smallest drop if you want. The guy that told you that don't know his stuff ! Maybe you tell him that you wanted some 19 or 20 inches wheels ?? Well...what size of wheel do you want to mix with TRD springs...on my pics I've 19's wheel with TRD springs. TRDparts4u.com is probably your place...I bought mine there and I'm in Canada (while back it worth it...1 CAD was at 0.65 USD !!)

We have bad roads too here in Quebec ! :S My old setup was also 18" on 225/40R18 tires with the TRD springs...Eibach would look a bit better...but be less pratical with the snow. Eibach are 0.2" (0.5 cm) lower than TRD (made by Eibach)

So how LOW does it feel on 19s with TRD springs compared to stock height & tires? I'm just curious lol...

Think about it...tire diamter (17's vs 19's) remains almost the same...some fraction of inch different and the TRD springs lower it on an average of 1.3". Bottom line, I think it looks more than it feels. It improves the look for sure...but in conservative way. If you talk about confort...I would say the rims makes the difference in my case...I've 16's winter tires and I feel almost nothing when going on holes or train tracks but with the 19's I detect the holes and other bad stuff on the road to avoid them. I don't mind with the 16's or 17's there is the difference.

Look Sebas i have one more question to you. Probalbly this is stupid but yesterday i was going to my practice and on the way to the gym i've picked up some of my friends. It was 4 men in the car with avereage weigth of 100 kg each. With all of us inside the distance beetween rear wheel and fender was less than on the picture of your car. I wonder when im gonna install TRD Springz and load my car with 4 or 5 peoples will i have rubbing issues ?

HAHAH King and Tolik...you don't even talk with the same measurement unit.

King 120 lbs = 54.5 Kg (dwarf ??)
Tolik...don't forget Americans use the English system ;)

Tolik is talking of 5 big men...100KG or 220 lbs (average)

To answer your question Tolik...I'm not sure...I don't think you will have several rubbing issues. Do you use your Solara as a gym bus often ?? I mean, your car is most of the time full of big guys ?? By the way...poor guy in the middle in the back seats !! haha

You don't need to buy any aftermaret parts at all, it is all optional. Putting eibach springs will give your car a lowered look, it will look nice.

here is a link to Sparks TRD website, it offers aftermarket parts at way lower prices than their regular price:

2Sebas007 Im not using my car very often to pick up my teammates but it happens. And it's not only about weight all of us average 192-198 cm of height :)) so all of them on the back seat are poor :))

OK after all of our disscussion a decided to first put 18" chrome rims and then im gonna decide to put or not to put trd springz
