Yeah i agree.
Lol.
I loved how the insurance adjuster labeled my car as an I4 in the paper work. lol.

It seems like it maybe be a double-edged sword being labeled as a 4 banger when you got 2 more cylinders under there. God forbid, something happens to your car and the insurance has to make a payout, you wouldnt want to get a 4 banger's check instead of a V6's would you?

BTW im slowly getting ready to move these 17s out so get your car back! lol

Doubtful that'll happen. The VIN will show that it's a V6. Insurance companies go by the VIN, trust me.

could be car wax residue, or possibly a number of other grimey things that could stay on (i.e. calcium from water deposits)

if you remove the badges, you're going to want to wash, clay bar, and wax the car. that way, you'll have the most even finish on the paint when you get all those pesky emblems off. plus it'll look and feel soooo smooth.

when i removed my rear emblems, there was a slight discoloration from the lack of paint-fade behind the emblem. but other than that, all the little bits of dirt and grime that were around the cursive 'solara' on the back washed and clay barred off (which is what i think would happen to these white areas you're talking about).

I took everything off except the cowboy logos.....looks much much much cleaner.......I especially hate the side badges, it takes away from the lines/flow of the car IMO.....Toyota wised up and repositioned the se v6 - sle v6 badges to the trunk on the later gen's(although, I probably wouldve removed them from the rear as well had my gen had them :P )
