Performance air filter?

Postby wayne rubel » Tue Jan 22, 2008 12:34 pm

Is there such a thing as a performance air filter to replace the stock filter that will actually boost hp noticeably , or is it just a gimmick?

I am thinking of my 05 solara

Yep, You can get a K&N filter, that is the exact shape and size of the stock one. Just made of a different material and with oil, to catch finer particles in the air. TRD also makes one for the Solara. You will have to order that one though. It never has to be replaced though. Just clean it every interval instead of replacing.

I would just do K&N. Or if you want an Intake the only two we have available to us is the CPE and the Injen.
