CamryOnBronze wrote:^ thats the issue- the spacer covers up the stock studs. Your lugs have to have enough length to be properly tightened. There is a very specific number of turns that lugs must be tightened onto the studs with or you risk them falling off. Thats why when you run spacers you want to have longer studs to compensate.

have you seen the kicks spacers? although the spacer does cover up the stock studs, it has studs on the spacer that for obvious reasons extend further out than stock studs. the stock ones (once the spacer is put on) are no longer used to hold the rim (only the spacer). the rim goes on the spacer and therefore longer wheel studs are not needed w/ this type of spacer. if you were going with H&R spacers then yes, you would need the longer studs b/c it only has holes to insert the stock studs. and thats it. no other studs are included.

see the pic? it will work fine w/o adding longer wheel studs. actually if you DO add longer studs, it will stick out waaaaaaaay too far.
almost there...what do you think?

You only need longer studs for any spacer smaller then a 20mm..... H&R also have spacers that have the studs in them... anything over 20mm is like that... whether it is KICS or H&R.

Freaken noobs.
