wheel spacer and hub question.

Got new rims. I need to know, what is the stock solara hub ring (the size)?

and I am getting spacers, I need to know if they can have a spacer that can have a smaller size hub center than the stock size because the wheels I got's hub is smaller so as of right now it wont fit..

please help me out right away if you can.. thanks guys in advance, it's appreciated.
PS: my car's new wheels have universal 5-lug. 5x114 and 5x100 (universal) just to let you guys know.

do they sell spacers with a smaller center bore so that my wheels can fit onto the spacer?? like can I buy a spacer maybe for lets say a cavalier or something with a smaller center bore so that it'll fit?? and with the 60.1 center bore, Im asuming a 58 or lower center bore would work right??

I'm just gonna answer your PM here.

If you bought a spacer with a LOWER center bore, it wouldn't even fit on the hub. You'd want a HIGHER center bore, but that doesn't mean anything.

If the center bore of your new wheel is smaller than what's on the car (i.e. less than 60.1), you can't use the wheel on your car, PERIOD, no exceptions.

also, with a +45 offset on 225/40/18 tires and with a 18x7.5 width wheel... what size spacer would i need? I'm guessin a 10mm?

with my 10mm spacers, is it a must that I need to get longer wheel studs. Can't I just use the studs that are on the spacer already? (what is the point of havin a longer wheel stud)

yes you could.

but there might be a problem. your stock styds might be too long and may not sit flush with ur wheel when installed.

jeff what is the offset and width of the wheels? you may be getting into roll your fender territory as well...

dont know why stock studs would be issue though, wont the spacers width cover up the stock studs anyways?

oh well Ill be testing the wheels with a set of Kics spacers today borrowed from s15lara today. we shall seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

^ thats the issue- the spacer covers up the stock studs. Your lugs have to have enough length to be properly tightened. There is a very specific number of turns that lugs must be tightened onto the studs with or you risk them falling off. Thats why when you run spacers you want to have longer studs to compensate.
