On December 10th, 2007 my baby was taken from me. Some broad ran a red light and t-boned my Solara. The insurance estimator made the decision that it was a write-off due to the frame being bent. It was a short year and a half of me owning it. I felt like it was my child, my baby, my pride and joy. Now I'm in the process of looking for another Solara.

Man - that sucks! Glad you're okay though.

Did ins. pay for any mods you had as well (if any?) - That's my biggest fear of losing the ride... watching all that time and $$ go down the drain. :(

Good luck finding a replacement.

The same exact situation happened to my family way back in 1995 or 1996 when we still lived in NY, a women not looking forward ran a red light and t-boned my family's Civic. The car was not totaled though since it was new at the time.

Sorry to hear this happened to you, stupid people (like that women that hit your ride) will always be stupid people. :(

The only mods or changes i made to the car were silverstar ultrawhites, a black led dome light, tein/tokico, and MTX speakers. I have an iPod integration system which I just got in the mail a week ago that i had ordered right before the accident. Insurance is gonna cover the tint and reimburse me for the full value of the vehicle.
