i don't remember the exact distance.. but i would say it's pretty far..
like 15cm+

i think it's BETTER not to remove toyota sign and "solara"
cause those holes r very annoying..
unless u r planing to have body shop to fill the holes...
otherwise, i don't think it's possible to find any other stuff to cover the wholes.
that's why i was forced to put back the sign...

Ok on my 2005, this is the deal:

The trunk lettering that says TOYOTA is only a sticker and can be easilly removed.

The trunk lettering that says SE is only a sticker and can be easilly removed.

The trunk lettering that says SOLARA (Gen 2.5 is different) has holes behind it.

The Toyota emblem on the trunk has holes behind it.

I easilly removed the TOYOTA and SE but left the Solara and the Toyota emblem.

I think he knows that, but wants to know how far the holes are apart.

Perhaps he has an idea to put something else there?

I came across this picture months ago and at first glance I thought it was a picture of blue tinted badges on a black Solara (sweet). But after closer examination it was basically the reflection of the night sky in the background that made it look blue (aww). But nevertheless, it got me thinking about tinting my badges. I got the means and the way, I just don't know what color I like besides silver on my white car. I like some semblance (that means "barest trace" for you non-artists) of stock-look on my cars so I want to keep the badges. (I took that frikk'n dealership sticker off as soon as I bought it though.) But at the same time I want it to be unique. I'm always trying to find that balance. I was also thinking of tinting the wheelcaps also.

Open up the liner inside your trunk and measure the tabs that are sticking out behind the Toyota logo. There's your answer.

This thread is done.

Thats not Priojex0's car if you're referring to the blue gen 2, that's Poshpepper's ride. It looks flat beautiful because it was all custom work lol

I took the 'solara' off a couple of weeks ago and realized there were 2 holes. Did the filler and touch up paint thing, looks a lot better now however i think ultimately i will put the emblem back on it. I bought these 'solara' from ebay, they are the newest chrome letters so they are all separate and not the crazy font 'solara' used to be in, they are in the arial font i believe. but what i am going to do is only putting up 'LARA', and paint it all black too to match the color of the car, its gonna be equally stealthy, will do the same to the toyota emblem on the trunk.
