chroming door handles?

chroming door handles?

Postby woa_its_j3ff » Fri Dec 28, 2007 8:44 pm

just a thought, has anyone ever thought of chroming their door handles? i know a member on here not only did the handles, but also the rectangular part around it as well... what would you suggest? or would you just leave it stock??

___ i ask this because I was lookin at some Acura's today when my dad's car was at the dealership, and I noticed some of them had it on the handles and I thought it looked prettynice...

but i wouldn't go as far as chroming my side moldings now, lol...

That would look ugly, I would rather paint the chrome strip to match the car or black.

Because the chrome around the windows is just on the surround, u could chrome the surround of the handle
i actually had a similar idea to this i was going to chrome my renova and leave in black mesh
and then i had my friend photoshop it for me
and i changed my mind :P

CHrome handles looks amazing on Gen2, but on gen 1 it would probably make looks the door handles cheaper .... he look of our door handle are not great and kind of old..on the car it doesnt appar a lot but when you watch them more,it's not pretty..and wih chrome it will probably make it looks cheap and older.. but if somebody try it please post pics! I wanna see that!

It's a tiny bit too late, but here's a Gen1 installation example (my car):

If you, or anybody reading this changes their mind, I still have the handles intended for the rear doors of the Camry (WARNING: that means no keyhole)... PM me if you want them. $8 shipped.
